Programs

Kindergarten

Our Kindergarten program offers a nurturing and engaging environment for your child's early education journey. Kindergarten is scheduled on Mondays, Wednesdays, and select Fridays. We understand the importance of a smooth start, which is why we host an Information Night in June. This allows parents and guardians to meet the teachers, tour the classroom, and learn about the curriculum. Our commitment to creating a family-friendly and welcoming atmosphere ensures that both students and their families feel a sense of belonging from the very beginning.

We take pride in our Play-Based learning approach, which not only encourages creativity but also fosters critical thinking skills. Through hands-on activities and interactive experiences, we aim to ignite a love for learning that will stay with your child throughout their educational journey. This approach helps them develop essential cognitive, social, and emotional skills in a fun and supportive setting.

We prioritize the development of strong foundational literacy and numeracy skills. Our curriculum is carefully designed to build a solid academic groundwork, setting the stage for future learning success. Small class sizes further enhance the learning experience, ensuring personalized attention for each child. This intimate setting allows our dedicated teachers to cater to individual needs, fostering a supportive and encouraging environment for growth.

To register your child for Kindergarten in the 2024-2025 school year, they must be 5 years old by December 31, 2024. Please click the link below to register your child today.

Elementary

Our elementary school provides an exceptional learning environment through small class sizes, promoting strong connections among students, teachers, and the community. The intimate class settings guarantee individualized attention, enabling customized instruction to suit various learning styles. As a close-knit school, we celebrate the charm of small-town life, providing a nurturing environment where every child is known and encouraged to thrive.

Junior High

Our junior high completes their core subjects such as Mathematics, Science, English, and Social Studies in the morning at Carbon School. After lunch, students are transported to Dr. Elliott (Linden) for a variety of optional courses such as Art History, Art & Science Challenge, Film Studies, Home Economics, Industrial Arts, Multimedia, Visual Arts, History of Rock and Roll, Math Challenge, Drama, Career Exploration, Personal Awareness, Financial Literacy, Health, and Photography. This setup allows our students the opportunity to explore a variety of subjects that align with their interests and passions, fostering a well-rounded educational experience.

Carbon School's commitment to a tri-campus structure further enhances the learning environment. This unique approach emphasizes a dynamic and interconnected atmosphere, placing significant emphasis on community and collaboration. Students not only engage with various courses but also benefit from the collaborative synergy that emerges across the tri-campus structure, contributing to a comprehensive and fulfilling educational experience.
